Ms. Clementino
focuses her practice on insurance defense with a concentration
in workers’ compensation law. She has practiced in the areas of
medical malpractice defense, nursing home defense, products
liability and civil litigation. She earned her undergraduate
degree in science from Syracuse University and her graduate
degree in science from the University of Michigan in 1980. She
received her Juris Doctor degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law
School in 1996.
Ms. Clementino
was employed by multi-hospital systems as a nurse practitioner
and manager, director of ambulatory and emergency nursing
departments, director of operations for a health care
maintenance organization and director of risk management,
insurance and safety. Prior to entering private practice, Ms.
Clementino served as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas S.
Eveland, Chief Circuit Court Judge, in Eaton County, Michigan.
Ms. Clementino
has lectured and published articles and chapters on various
health care law issues.
Ms. Clementino
is a member of numerous professional organizations, including
the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, the American
Association of Nurse Attorneys, the Ingham County Bar
Association, the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing and
the Honor Society of Nursing. She is also a member of the
Workers’ Compensation Law section of the Michigan Bar
Association.
